Learning, Building, Growing: My Red Hat Journey So Far

Introduction

On October 1st, I was promoted to Associate Principal Solution Architect at Red Hat. This milestone marks not just a new title, but also an opportunity to reflect on the journey of the past two years.

Reflections

Time has passed remarkably quickly since I joined Red Hat in mid-2023. In that period, I’ve had the privilege to:

Work with highly skilled and deeply technical colleagues across Europe.
Engage in diverse and challenging projects, many of which operate at the forefront of technology.
Learn about, conduct POCs, and deliver workshops in the exciting and fast-moving field of AI.
Deepen my own expertise by pursuing and completing several Red Hat certifications.

It has been a journey of constant learning, collaboration, and growth. There were moments of trial and error, but each step forward brought valuable insights.

Looking Ahead

This promotion is not a finish line but rather a signal to run a bit faster, continue learning, and contribute more. I am grateful to my mentor, my manager, and my colleagues at Red Hat who have guided, challenged, and supported me throughout this journey.

The path ahead is dynamic, and I look forward to building further, learning more, and — hopefully — still keeping a smile on the way.

Hello Red Hat

Introduction

On July 1st, I embarked on a new journey with Red Hat as a Senior Solution Architect. In this role, I will be providing technical consultancy to partners within the Red Hat Ecosystem Team. I am eagerly looking forward to this exciting new challenge.

A quote from the renowned German poet, Hermann Hesse, resonates with my feelings at the start of this journey: “Jedem Anfang wohnt ein Zauber inne”, which translates to “A magic dwells in each beginning”. Indeed, the magic of new beginnings is palpable and I am ready to embrace this wonderful journey with open arms.

At the end of June, I parted ways with Dell Technologies after 8.5 wonderful years. I had an amazing time at the company, working alongside fantastic colleagues, and I learned a great deal during my tenure.

Dear LinkedIn Network,

I wanted to take a moment to announce my departure from Dell Technologies.

Today marks the culmination of an incredible journey that began 8.5 years ago when I joined EMC as an Associate Systems Engineer through the GSAP program. Looking back, I regard my tenure at Dell Technologies with deep gratitude. It’s an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a myriad of customers across diverse industries, each with their unique and exciting projects. Witnessing one of the largest mergers in tech history up close will always be a career highlight for me.

Indeed, it’s the people who truly make a difference. I’ve had the pleasure of working with exceptional teammates across all company levels. Along the way, colleagues have turned into friends, and leaders have transformed into role models. I’m moving forward armed with a wealth of experiences and fond memories.

Finally, I’d like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all customers, partners, and Dell teammates who were part of this journey. I wish you all nothing but the very best.
